A Person's True Colors by Jim Martin

Most have heard the phrase of seeing a person's true colors appear when they are under stress or just in general situations in life which brings out the best or worst in that individual. People are like leaves in the fact that the colors are there all the time but covered up until the true colors appear when the camouflage or personality changes. You see, leaves have these brilliant colors all summer long but while Photosynthesis is occurring , the green Chlorophyll is in the leaf covering the true colors. When the season changes and Photosynthesis stops, the Chlorophyll leaves the leaf and exposes the true colors that were "always" there.
We have all been in life situations when our own true colors have been exposed or we have seen others true colors appear. Everyone would like to think that no matter what the circumstances are, we all would show flying colors and handle every challenge in life as a perfect soul. But since we are all here to learn and become better spirits, we will not act perfectly all the time. But we can try.
There are individuals that we have known for years and we thought that everything was known about them, but then the season changed---and they changed. The old saying  of ,"we thought we knew them" became the topic of conversation. This could be showing a new color to your Children they have never seen before. I hope not but it happens . Children need stability and consistency.  Your true colors may come out with your spouse and I hope they are solid colors when he/she needs you the most .There "will" be times when you will be called for help by your family or extended family and it will be a critical time for you to respond.
No matter what level the stress or challenge is , it is imperative that we show our colors in a responsible, caring and lovable way for the sake of others around us. Being loyal to family , friends , business associates means showing your true colors and making this World a better place.

(Quote From New Years Eve Movie) Sometimes it feels like there are so many things in this World that we can't control--Earthquakes--life--Reality shows--but it's important to remember the things that we can --like forgiveness, second chances, fresh starts--because the one thing that turns the World from a lonely place into a beautiful place is ---LOVE--Love in any of it's forms--Love gives us Hope for a New Year.
